New Haven Clock Co., New Haven, Conn., "Chatelaine" antique brass finish 15 day hanging timepiece, c1889
CONDITION:
this example has a different bottom from the one in Ly, and the hanging chain is absent. There is an old patina on the brass, with some tarnish spots, and just one of the porcelain cartouche numbers has a small chip showing the copper below. The hands are new. The long duration movement powers its balance wheel with twin mainsprings. Ht of case 14"
